Microwave Food Preserver
You can preserve vegetables, fruits, jams, jellies, and other foods in as little as 6 to 8 min. using a first-of-its-kind microwave food preserver.
The new Micro-Dome preserver consists of a plastic container made out of a special FDA-approved plastic. You place the food to be preserved in a round, wide-mouthed pint or half-pint Mason jar, screw on the lid, and place the jar in the Micro-Dome. Then place the unit in the microwave at full power until a timing whistle goes off - at about 6 to 8 min. - announcing that the high temperatures required have been reached. Then you remove and cool in water. The food can be stored indefinitely without refrigeration.
Sells for $49.95.
