Planter Auger For Hand Drills
"It's one of the handiest tools ever developed for gardeners, flower growers and tree planters," says Wayne Niewold, inventor and manufacturer of the new "Power Planter" auger that's powered by 3/8-in. or larger hand drills.
The 3-in. dia. auger is 7 in. long, fitted with conventional metal flighting. It can be used to plant everything from tomato plants to trees and bulbs. Niewold says it also works great for digging shallow trenches or to install edging.
Sells for $19.
