Tag-Along Trailer Saves Planting Time PLANTING EQUIPMENT Miscellaneous 2-2-12 A new fertilizer trailer from Olson Brothers Mfg. saves time spent in filling fertilizer hoppers. It lets you make 10 times as many rounds as conventional equipment without refilling.
The trailer holds 5 tons of fertilizer which is angered forward to the planter, then distributed right and left to the hoppers for "on the go" filling.
Each mounting is custom made to fit the owner's planter and will fit all makes and sizes. Depending on size of the planter it is to be used with, the trailer costs up to $3,800. It was tested for three years on the manufacturer's farm before being put into production.
