Climb Over Fences Safely, Easily With Lightweight Pocket-Sized Step
If you've ever ripped your clothes or gouged body parts trying to step over or crawl through a barbed wire fence, you can appreciate the Mason Hi-StepperÖ.
The lightweight cast aluminum alloy step attaches easily to just about any T-style steel fence post to make a secure step that will give you a leg up in making that stretch over the wire. When you attach the Hi-Stepper to a steel post, it gives you a step on both sides. That allows you to step up onto the step, step over the wire onto the other side, and then step down. The steps are ridged to help prevent your feet from slipping, too. The Hi-Stepper measures just 8 in. long by 2 3/16 in. wide and 1 in. thick. It weighs only 8 oz. so you can carry it in a pocket, or in a glove box or toolbox in your pickup or ATV.
The Hi-Stepper can be turned over and used with a lever and fulcrum or a jack to push up and remove fence posts. It sells for about $20.
