Dodge Convertible Pickup
The first production convertible pickup was introduced this spring by Dodge.
The new Dakota convertible has a manual-fold vinyl top that is completely removable, or can be folded back and covered. It's available in three colors - red, black and white. It comes standard with a 3.9-liter V-6 engine and five-speed manual transmission. A four-speed automatic transmission is optional.
Standard equipment includes a tachometer, AM stereo/FM stereo cassette radio, deluxe wipers, power steering, power windows and door locks, and a leather-wrapped sport steering wheel.
Available options include air conditioning, cruise control, tilt steering and a 22-gal. fuel tank. The convertible is available in 4-WD or 2-WD.
