Overhaul Kits For Wisconsin Engines
If you've got a Wisconsin gas engine that needs repair, you'll be interested in new "overhaul" kits from Wilson Engine Power.
The kits are designed for engine models TJD, VH4D, VG4D, and V465D. They contain an oil pump, pistons, set of rings, inlet valves, exhaust valves, valve stem guides, front seal, bushings, piston pin, and one gasket set.
"It's got all the parts you need. Eliminates the need to shop around at four or five different places which has often been the case in the past," says sales rep Greg Overton. "Wisconsin gas engines are popular because they're self-contained and aircooled. A lot of old balers and skid steer loaders, as well as some combines, are powered by them. We can customize kits according to customer needs. It won't save you a lot of money, but it makes engine repair much more convenient.
"Cost, which depends on the engine model and needed components, varies from $350 to $800."
