First Electric Log Splitters Introduced WOODLOT EQUIPMENT Wood Splitters 5-3-31 Danuser Machine Company's new all-electric ES-1 log splitter plugs into any standard 110 V. outlet. With no exhaust fumes to worry about, you can even operate it indoors.
The ES-1 operates in either the vertical or horizontal position, developing 14,000 lbs. of splitting force. Handles logs up to 20 in. long. The operator controls it by stepping on a foot pedal, leaving both hands free for handling logs. The hydraulic cylinder (2 3/4 in. dia.) is equipped with springs which pull it back after each forward stroke.
The splitter weighs 140 lbs. and is 52 in. long for easy portability in your pickup, or in your car trunk.
Stands vertically for out of the way storage. Sells for $559 complete. A 15 amp fuse and ground-fault interrupter provide electrical safety.
