New 3-Pt Hydraulic Boom TRACTORS Accessories 2-5-10 This new telescoping hydraulic boom is tailor-made for those awkward carrying jobs around the farm. It'll handle heavy loads- up to 4,000 lbs. at its 9 ft. extension, and 2,500 lbs. fully extended to 15 ft. Manufactured by De Geest Manufacturing Co., Sioux Falls, S. Dak., the Mity Hy Boom adapts to 6,500 lbs. class tractors and larger. It's rated lifting capacities are based on 1,300 psi. Telescoping boom extends to 9,12 or 15 ft. The Mity Hy Boom connects and disconnects easily to any 3 pt. hitch, according to De Geest. Its maximum height from the ground, when extended fully, is 19 ft. ,10 in. When at its 9 ft. extension point, the boom is 16 ft. 3 in. from the ground. The boom rides behind the tractor on two wheels. An optional transport carrier for towing behind a pickup can be purchased for $325. The Mity Hi Boom itself sells for $1,595.
