Seed Flap Eliminates Bounce
A flexible poly flap that acts as a sort of trap door at the bottom of your seed tubes keeps seed from bouncing out of the fur-row, according to its manufacturer.
The new Seed Bounce Flap attaches to the end of the seed tube with a 3/32-in. dia. roll pin inserted into 1/8-in. dia. holes drilled on each side of the end of the tube (a template is provided to line up holes). The flaps should last at least 2,000 acres, the company says.
Fits Deere 7000 to 7300, Kinze, White 5100 to 6100, Monosem, or any other planter with similar seed tubes. They sell for $3.00 apiece.
