Saf-T-Fil Signals When Bin Is Full
New from Cyll Enterprises is "Saf-T-Fil," a simple, inexpensive bin attachment that signals when the bin is full so you don't have to climb up and down the bin, or invest in expensive alarms to prevent bin overflow.
It features a polystyrene float mounted inside the bin near the filler hole. When the bin is nearly full, grain flows against the float, pushing it up against the bin roof and sliding an indicator, fastened to the float, up through the roof. The indicator, with reflective tape so it's visible at night, also has a cap to seal out moisture.
Because it's positioned below the filler hole, you have enough time and space once the "full" sign appears to empty out the auger. Attaches to the bin with two bolts.
Sells for $32.50, and can be hooked up to a sound alarm.
