Laundry Basket Repair

I repaired my wife’s laundry basket using two oak boards (3/4 in. by 1 1/2 in. by 16 3/4 in. long), two 1/2-in. PEX pipes (10 in. long) and two 1/4-in. dia. nylon ropes (20 in. long). First, I rounded off one edge of the boards. Then I cut 3/4-in. deep slots to accommodate the plastic gussets. Finally, I drilled 1/4-in. holes 6 in. apart. I save my issues of FARM SHOW. For future reference, I write the title or idea and page number on the front cover to help me locate articles I’m interested in. You could write your notes on a sticky note and place it on the cover instead. (Ralph Volkman, Black Creek, Wis.)
