Dryer For Hats, Mittens

Boot dryers are great for drying boots, but the piece that extends over the arch of the toes makes them less effective for gloves, hats and mittens. I solved this problem with PVC pipe that fits over the dryer’s existing tubes. I drilled holes in the pipes and added cheap kitchen whisks. This way, when you put the hat, glove or mitten over the whisk, it spreads out the fabric so the air can get into all the fingers, nooks and crannies. This works much better than the provided angled arm. (Cal Miner, Willmar, Minn.)
