Waldermfg.com Extrude And Press Systems For Farms And Commercial (Grade Meal)!
Over a 17 year period, Walder Mfg has been very successful in marketing oil screw
presses for farmers, commercial markets and food grade facilities, selling presses in the U.S., Canada, and in Nigeria, Africa.
Walder Mfg. re-machines every press to specs to insure longevity (8,000 to 12,000 hrs.) and high oil yields. The presses are reasonably priced, and work hard, with longevity for the customer, therefore, making their pay back on their investment fairly quick. “We have a solid reputation and knowledge of the presses, we are readily available for trouble shooting and carry all parts on hand.”
The number one seller is the soybean double press unit that produces a gallon of oil per bushel with 49 percent by-pass protein, Walder said, “Tests are measured on success in the dairy industry by butter fat, which increases from 3.7 to 4.2 percent and slight increase in milk over chemical treated meal. Beef farmers see a higher rate of gain on pressed meal too because the pressed meal has more energy.”
Walder Mfg. continues to expand into new markets with an extruder. With liability on everyone’s mind, we went to an extruder because it is 100% mechanical. It heats the soybeans to 310 degrees to convert the trypsin enzyme for the hog and poultry markets. With extruding first and then pressing, we have more options on pressing because we can single press for more energy in the meal for hogs and poultry - or we can double press for less fat so dairies can feed more protein to maxinize their profits. You can also extrude canola before pressing.
Walder Mfg. has experience in pressing sunflowers, flax, canola, camelina, mustard, soybeans, milk thistle, cotton seed, pecans, acorns, and grape seed. To press grape seed we had to redesign the screw in the press making a special press for that product.
Walder Mfg. sells a 6 ton press starting at $6,000. It can be powered by a 10 hp electric single phase motor or pto. Our 20 ton press starts at $19,700 and is powered by a 30 hp electric 3 phase motor or a pto. The 20 ton press can produce up to 860 gallons of oil per day. Our 6 ton extruder starts at $15,470 with a 50 hp motor, and the 20 ton press extruder starts at $27,300 with a 75 hp electric motor.
Walder Mfg. makes bio-diesel with their oil for the farm. Also, oil is a commodity that can be sold.
