“Whenever our house furnace would turn on, air coming out of the floor register in our bathroom would blow the door shut. By putting a small magnet on the door and on the door stop, we’re able to keep the door open,” says Larry Floer, Regina, Sask.
Floer bought a pair of 1-in. sq. magnets, each with a small hole in the middle. He screwed one magnet onto the plastic knob at the end of the doorstop spring, and the other one to base of the door.
