New Way To Roast And Bake
This new Karrsen Dome Oven holds up to a 22-lb. turkey, but can also bake a 12-in. pizza, pot roast, cake and just about anything else a conventional oven bakes. And it does it faster, keeps food moister and is energy efficient, says Joey Ober, executive vice president with Karrsen.
  “What makes it different is that the dome oven has a heating element in the lid,” Ober says.
  With the dual-wall lid, the oven heats to 450 degrees in just 6 min. The all-around heating method speeds cooking time by as much as 51 percent. And since it only uses 1,150 watts and is well insulated, the oven doesn’t put off as much heat or use as much electricity as other roasters or range ovens.
  “We introduced it in March, and it has been very well received,” Ober says.
