Stainless Steel Exhaust Pipes, Muflers
"We make tractor exhaust components to the customer's order," says Burger. "We need accurate dimensions and, if possible, a sketch. We have done projects based on information over the phone, but we need more than the make and model. We need length, diameter and any angles, such as 45 degrees or 90 degrees, as well as polished or plain steel."
Stainless Specialties sells plain or polished straight tubing by the foot. They also offer a full line of stainless header collector adapters, muffler clamps, flanges and hangers, all fabricated from long-lasting 304 stainless steel.
The bulk of the company's business is car related, with special products like Cobra Side Pipes for the original Cobra and most Cobra kits. It's a fully chambered muffler inside the pipes, handcrafted from 304 stainless steel. Other specialties include a muffler that installs at the end of the system and various tube ends, including baloney tubes ranging from 2 1/2 to 4-in. diameters.
Burger says prices change weekly, so it's best to call for prices on a particular project or part.
