New Bed Leveler For Gravity Flow Wagons
"This Bed Leveler makes older gravity flow boxes as good as new and helps preserve new boxes," says Tom Hart, president of Lee Welding, Lee, Ill. "The design permits wagons to float over rough fields to help elimate wagon breakage by using heavy duty shock absorbers to reduce sway and tippage."
In addition to gravity flow wagons, the Bed Leveler works well under big silage wagons, Hart points out.
As an additional bonus, the unit raises the box 41/a in., allowing more hopper clearance. Installation is simple and takes only a few minutes. The two Bed Leveler units, one for the front and one for the back, are set in place and fastened with two U bolts. Each 150 lb. unit is made of 1/4 in. steel and can be installed or removed from any running gear in a matter of minutes.
Eight and 10 ton models are available at a suggested retail cost of $250 per pair, FOB.
