Outdoor Wood Furnace Eliminates High Heating Bills
The E-Classic is located outside, away from the home and works with any existing heating system. A water jacket surrounds the furnace firebox and heat exchanger. Heated water is circulated to the home or building through insulated underground pipes. Direct circulation or heat exchangers convey the heat into the structure's forced-air furnace, boiler or radiant floor heating system. This provides a safe, even, clean and comfortable heat that is thermostatically controlled.
"The E-Classic can actually improve your family's living environment while eliminating the fire hazards and time-consuming chores of tending to a traditional indoor wood stove," says Rodney Tollefson, vice president of Central Boiler. "Outside burning removes the threat of chimney fires and dangerous carbon monoxide buildup, and also eliminates the smoke, ashes, odors and soot buildup on walls and ceilings inside your home that indoor burning creates."
The benefits of the E-Classic don't stop there. According to the EPA, Phase 2 Program qualified models are about 90 percent cleaner than unqualified models.
The E-Classic 1400 is over 84% efficient. It will generally use 25% to 70% less wood than traditional wood furnaces or other brands of outdoor wood furnaces.
With the patent-pending self-cleaning heat exchanger, the E-Classic 1400 produces extremely low emissions per Btu of heat delivered and is one of the cleanest ways to heat with wood.
Central Boiler is showing people how much an E-Classic outdoor wood furnace can save them with an Energy Savings Calculator located at CentralBoiler.com. The easy-to-use calculator takes into account how much gas, oil and electricity a home uses and shows how families can save tens of thousands of dollars and more over time.
