EZ Mover Hauls Sheds Easily
Tim Reinford delivers ready-made storage sheds for his brother. He needed a way to transport them from his truck and trailer without destroying the lawns of customers.
That problem led him to create the EZ Mover.
The machine consists of a main carrier powered by a Honda 5 1/2 hp gas engine and coupled to a hydrostatic transmission. Two sets of dolly wheels go under the side of the shed opposite the main carrier.
The EZ Mover can haul sheds up to 12 by 16 ft.
The dolly wheels attach to 4 by 4's under the shed with large pins. The other side of the shed simply rests on top of the back of the main carrier.
With one hand on the steering pole, a person can walk beside or in front of the machine to move a shed. A hydrostatic control lever regulates the speed.
Tim says he isn't aware of any similar product on the market. He sells the EZ Mover for about $3,000.
"I've been using my EZ Mover for three years and it works just great," he says, noting that it maneuvers easily around trees and into tight spots.
