Rear/View TV For Tractors TRACTORS Accessories 1-1-29 New from Agri-Scan, Jefferson, Wis., is a TV monitoring system for farm tractors that provides constant, easy viewing of attached implements without having to look back.
A rear-view camera projects all the action behind your back on a dashmounted TV screen. "It fits any farm tractor and can be used at night as well as during the day," reports Gary Lintvedt, president. "The camera is equipped with a wide-view lens which picks up the action 50 ft. to the rear and 30 ft. on either side. Because of its wide view, it can be mounted in a fixed position without having to pan from side to side. Best bet is to mount it on top of the cab directly above the drawbar. If design is such that it can't go on the cab, it can be mounted on either fender," says Lintvedt.
He adds that the camera is vibration proof, and sealed in a heavy-duty waterproof housing to protect against dust, dirt, snow or rain.
