Hydraulic-driven unit attaches to header and uses fingers or batts mounted on steel arms to feed the crop into gathering chains. "The batts are built heavy so they won't bend," says David Donaldson. "It uses pillow block bearings for longer life."
The unit is equipped with a motor that operates off combine hydraulics. Fits 4 to 12-row headers. Sells for $1,600 to $2,600 depending on row width.
