Songbirds Love Tese Birdbath "Misters"
Moving water attracts more songbirds to bird baths and feeders, says the manufacturer of a line of "misters" and "drippers".
  Here's what's available:
  • Dripper - Copper dripper can be used at ground level or on pedestal bird baths. Birds like to perch on the dripper and drink directly from the end of the tube, the company says. Flow rates can be adjusted down to 1 pt. of water per hour. Can be hooked up to a permanent water line or garden hose. Sells for $51.70.
  • Feather Mister - It's designed to spray a fine cloud of water that wets foliage so birds can take "leaf baths". You simply select a small tree or shrub, attach the nozzle to a low limb and hook up to water. Sells for $37.70.
  • Dripper/Feather Mister Combination - Can be set up as a dripper or an adjustable flow mister, or operated simultaneously as both. Sells for $60.50.
  • Estate Cascade - A molded 2 by 3-ft. cascading bird bath and pond including a Hollow Waterfall Rock, a 140 gph pump, tubing, fittings and reservoir to recirculate cascading water through three levels. Installs anywhere in yard and sets up in 20 minutes. Sells for $184.70.
The company also sells several bird baths featuring drippers and various bird bath accessories.
