Silk Brush Cleans Up Corn-On-The-Cob
You can remove silk from sweet corn with no damage to kernels with this new corn-onthe-cob silk brush, according to Pro Sales, manufacturer.
The "Silk Away" brush measures 3 in. long and tapers from 2 in. wide on one end to 1 1/ 2 in. wide on the other to conform to the shape of the ear and to your hand. It features alternating long and short, soft flexible bristles made of a durable rubber-like material that completely remove both tough and light silk.
Sells for under $2 and is available at a variety of retail stores.
