"Quick And Easy" Fence Repair Tool FENCING Tools 22-4-4 Inventor Pol Haldemann claims his new fence repair tool is the quickest, slickest barbed wire fence mender on the market. The "Tensionizer" consists of two 20-in. long steel arms that spread apart at a fulcrum on one end. One arm is fitted with a 3/8-in. dia. pin on the end. To use, you run the splice around the pin, which acts as a ratchet, then through the tool's wire holder, squeezing the handles to ratchet the wire around the break and pull it tight. You then hold the wire loop with a disc welded in the V between the handles to keep wire from twisting while you wrap it around the splice.
