Bale Stacking 90º Dump Trailer
Gascon's 12-ton trailer doubles as a bale hauler - up to 180 conventional square bales - and general purpose dump trailer. What makes it special is that it raises up to a completely vertical 90º dump angle, thanks to the unique "bendable" design of the trailer chassis.
To haul bales, the sides of the trailer are removed except for front and back stacking plates. The bale stack can be pushed off intact onto the ground from the horizontal by lowering the rear end of the trailer to the ground, or you can lift up to the 90º angle and stack the bale pile on end. By adding sides to the trailer, it can be used to haul anything and will dump either to the rear or front.
To lower the rear end of the trailer to the ground for pushing off a stack of bales, a hydraulic cylinder on the tongue of the trailer simply tilts up the trailer frame. The two-way dump trailer sells for $8,000.
