Paperless Coffee Filter
You'll never have to buy another paper filter for your drip-type coffeemaker with this new stainless steel filter screen that comes in two styles to replace most paper filters on the market.
Larry Galligher, Aberdeen, S . Dak., came up with the idea. "It's easier to use and you never have to worry about running out of filters again," he says. "After use, you just dump out the grounds and rinse out the filter or place it on the top shelf of your dishwasher."
It comes in two sizes - a basket style that fits most 8 to 12-cup coffeemakers and costs $9.95 (plus $1.50 shipping) and a cone-shaped filter that fits 4 to 12-cup cone-shaped filter coffeemakers that sells for $10.95 (plus $1.50).
