Jet air oven fastest cooker ever"It cooks as fast or faster than a microwave oven but with none of the drawbacks," says Sheree Weston, of American Harvest, manufacturer of a new "Jet Air" oven.
The oven circulates heated air at high rates of speed throughout the oven's cooking cavity. Weston says it cooks better than convection ovens, which also blow heated air, because of its round design that prevents air from getting "trapped" in corners, and because of the way its fan is positioned right out in the open with no obstructions between it and the food.
The see-though 13 1/2-in. oven can be used to fry, bake, boil and grill foods as well as frost and reheat. You can even cook refrigerated dough products, such as bread and cookies, in the unit. It cooks and fries without oil and preheats to 400? in 90 secs. Cooks three times as fast as conventional ovens.
