Row Independent Chopper On Market
That revolutionary "row independent" Kemper forage chopper we first told you about two years ago in FARM SHOW is now being sold in the U.S. by Taylor Implement Co., Box 725, West Highway 24, Hoxie, Kan. 67740 (ph 913 675-3272). It takes a 10 ft. wide swath and can go in any direction to harvest row crops, or solid-seeded forage crops. Low maintenance twin rotary drums replace conventional gathering chains, belts. Each 5 ft. dia. drum is equipped with a circular cutting knife, made up of 8 bolt-on sections. New-style header adapts to Deere, New Holland and Claas self-propelled choppers.
