After washing you just slide wet cap over the molded plastic form, which was developed by Ron Thomas, McLeansboro, Ill. To get extra stiffness you can spray it with starch.
"It's ideal for organizing cap collections because you can stack the cap dryers on top of each other. By storing caps on the dryer, they'll keep their original shape," says Thomas.
