Turn Your ATV Into A Riding Lawn Mower
You can mow grass with your ATV using an ordinary push mower thanks to a new adapter kit from TAW Corp., Vicksburg, Miss.
The push mower adapter is one of four accessories that fit into a tow-bar tongue that mounts permanently on the ATV. The TAW tow bar easily adapts to both 3 and 4-wheelers, lifting the front axle off the ground for over-the-road towing.
To attach the push mower bracket, you simply slide out the tow bar tongue from the permanently mounted bracket on the ATV and slide in the push mower assembly. The mower bracket adapts to 22 or 24-in. decks. Four chains from the mower bracket suspend the mower deck off the ground, keeping the wheels in mid-air. Chains can be adjusted up and down to alter length of cut.
The tow bar sells for $119.95 and installs with 4 bolts. The add-on mower bracket sells for an additional $69.99.
