Quick Adjust Kit For Gleaner Combines
"It solves a problem that's always been one of the biggest gripes by Gleaner combine owners," says Harold Fratzke, Cottonwood, Minn., inventor of a new "quick adjust" cylinder kit that lets you easily raise or lower the cylinder to adjust to varying crop conditions or to unplug it.
Fratzke says the conventional method of cylinder adjustment on Gleaners involves two wrenches, skinned knuckles and about half an hour's work.
"With this new kit, you simply loosen a bolt on each side and use the two cranks to move the cylinder. The range of adjustment remains the same," says Fratzke.
Installation takes about half and hour. Kit fits on Gleaner M2, M3, L2, L3, F, F2, F3 and K models. Sells for $45.
