Remote Control Kit For Combine Sieves
You can control the grain cleaning sieve in your combine by turning a crank in the cab thanks to a new "cleaning sieve" control kit from TAS-L Marketing, Brunkild, Manitoba.
The sieve adjuster mounts on the existing sieve adjustment levers and is controlled by the crank, which mounts in the cab beside the seat.
"This kit lets you open and close the sieve while the combine is under load so there's no need to stop and get off the combine," says Tim LeClair, distributor. "The unit is completely mechanical and requires no major modifications. There are electronic units like this on the market but they're much more expensive and don't provide the `fingertip' control you get with this unit."
The kit, which was designed and field tested by farmers, fits Deere and Case-IH combines and is adaptable to other makes.
Sells for $155 to $175 depending on combine model.
