Hinge Hanger Hides Behind Door
"I got the idea one day while trying to find a place to hang my wet towel in the bath-room. I spotted the hinges and space behind a partially open bathroom door and a lightbulb went off," says Richard Lowe, Indianapolis, Ind., manufacturer of "Hinge-It", a behind-the-door hanger that mounts on standard door hinges.
"They don't bang or mar the woodwook like those flimsy over-the-door hooks, no holes are required, and best of all they won't pull off the door or wall," says Lowe.
Hinge-Its are designed for use all over the house and Lowe now makes models with anywhere from 2 to 5 hangers.
Available in white epoxy, solid oak, or brass finish. Priced from $3.95 for the small "Handy Hook" up to $39.95 for a solid oak 5-hook model. Most sell for about $25.
