Baler Makes Bales From 1 1/2 ft To 5 Ft. Diameter
The spring-loaded belt design of this new Feraboli round baler from Italy lets the operator adjust bale size from 1 1/2 ft. to 5 ft. dia. or anywhere in between.
Bale density can also be easily adjusted with the Feraboli baler. For example, you can produce bales with a soft inner core or bales that are uniformly dense all the way through.
"It lets you adapt bale size and density to whatever material you're baling and to the way you plan to feed the bales. If you're making hay bales to feed in a dairy barn, for example, you may want to make smaller bales for easier handling but then make full-size bales for feeding outside in big bale feeders," says a company representative.
One belt in the bale chamber wraps tightly around the bale as it begins to form. Once the bale reaches the minimum 1 1/2 ft. dia. size, you can stop at any time and tie the bale.
The pto-powered baler requires a minimum 55 hp. tractor.
