Grinder-Type Moisture Testers Provide Quick, Accurate Readings

The Super-Tech 3000 digital moisture tester is equipped with a pair of built-in measuring cups that are used to put a uniform size sample in the grinding chamber. You turn the handle to grind the sample, then press "test" and wait a few seconds to get the moisture content. The unit automatically compensates for temperature and shows you the average of up to four previous tests on the same crop, while displaying the reading for the current sample on a 2-line display. It's accurate to within 0.5% except for corn that has a moisture content over 29%.
A steel cleaning brush is provided for cleaning the two grinding parts. Comes in a shockproof carrying case.
The 4 3/4-in. wide, 9 1/2-in. long unit is made from shockproof plastic. It weighs 2 lbs. 14 oz. and is powered by a 9-volt battery. Comes with a 2-year warranty.
