Never-Freeze Automatic Plastic Dog Waterer
"You only have to water your dog every 2 to 3 weeks," says Mark Greer, manufacturer of a new automatic dog waterer that can be fitted with an electric element to keep it from freezing at even the coldest sub-zero temperatures.
The "Doggie Drink" fountain is a 14-in. sq. plastic cube that holds 5 1/2 gal. of water. Water feeds into a drinking cup automatically as dog drinks, providing a continuous fresh supply. The waterer is equipped with a 175-watt electric element.
Plugs into a 110-volt element.
"Farmers have been looking for a semi-automatic waterer. They don't want to hook up permanently to a water supply but they don't want to have to water their dog every day," says Green.
Sells for $99.95. A non-electric model sells for $49.95.
