New Blowtorch Is Flameless
A flameless blowtorch that shoots out a powerful halogen beam at temperatures ranging from 300 to 1125? is new from the John Sturges House, Westport, Conn.
Called the Torchlight, it can be used to peel paint, thaw frozen pipes, or to warm cold engines. Other possible uses include using it to soften putty when reglazing windows, or for sweating copper tubing and fittings.
Cost, complete with 75 hr. replaceable lamp, is $34.95.
