Hinged Platform For Deere 750 Drill DRILLS Drills (42C) 20-5-10 Puting a platform over the transport wheels on back of a Deere 750 no-till drill makes so much sense it seems like an option that should come from the factory.
But it doesn't, so Len Corzine, Assumption, Ill., made his own platform out of square steel tubing and expanded metal mesh. The platform runs between the two outside wheel assemblies and extends back over the wheels far enough to reach a service truck backed up to the drill.
To make it easy to service the drill, Corzine hinged the platform on front so the entire deck lifts up easily when needed. He also extended hydraulic lines to the back of the deck from the tractor towing the drill.
