Big Bale Knife Mounts On Tractor 3-Pt
You won't believe your eyes when you see how slick and easy this new 3-pt. bale knife slices through big round bales.
It makes it easy to slice up bales for feeding with no need to try to unroll them. It a lot safer, faster and cleaner than trying to cut up bales with a chain saw or other type of hand-held knife.
Made in Italy, the knife is imported by RMH Industries, Inc., in Visalia, Calif. "Takes just seconds to make a cut all the way through a bale. You load the bale onto the bale forks, carry it to wherever you want to feed it, and then slice it up. You can cut off part of the bale and then carry the remaining part of the bale to a new location to slice off another piece," says Ben Herlinger, RMH vice president.
The knife consists of a pto-powered vertically-mounted sickle bar. It's pushed down into the bale by a single hydraulic cylinder. Can be operated from the seat of the tractor.
Sells for $3,999.
