Wear Kits For Combines
Brent Bradford says he's in the business of saving "precious metals" in combines - the high-wear areas that wear out before any-thing else, resulting in expensive repair jobs or even a too-soon trip to the junkyard.
Bradford's new wear prevention kits consist of pre-cut pieces of durable plastic thats will "last longer than the original steel".
Each kit includes: pieces to line header table, bottom of feederhouse, entire bottom end of clean grain elevator, bottom of return elevator, bottom of hopper unload augers, and other parts, depending on the model.
"Kits are easy to install and come complete with hardware, adhesive and complete instructions for your make and model of combine," says Bradford, who has kits to fit Deere, Case-IH, New Holland, and Gleaners. Kits sell for $249 (Canadian). Extra header kits sell for $70.
