The popular Salop line of trailers features a tapered body for easy unloading, rigid steel sides, rubbersealer automatic opening and closing rear endgates, built-in safety prop for use when the bed is raised, single or twin hydraulic lift cylinders and heavy duty jack. Tandem axles on 9 and 14 ton models provide flotation and smooth operation over uneven ground. Single axles are provided on 5 and 6.5 ton trailers.
Approximate cubic capacity, level with the top of the sides on the basic trailer, are as follows: 5 ton model - 215 cu. ft.; 6.5 ton - 292 cu. ft.; 9 ton - 390 cu. ft.; and 14 ton trailer- 630 cubic feet.
Prices for these trailers in England start at approximately-$1800 for the 5 ton model without lights, brakes or other special equipment. Optional features include a grain spout for the rear gate, silage sides for front or side loading, brakes, lights and mud flaps.
The manufacturer is interested in U.S. distribution. For more details, contact: FARM SHOW Followup, Salop Trailer Company Ltd., Monkmoor Road, Shrewsbury, England
