Easy Way To Preserve Battery

Howard Sklar, Aurora: “If you want to preserve a car (or other) battery that won’t be used for a while, especially in cold weather, you don’t need an expensive drip-charge system. Just remove the negative terminal from the battery. I wrap mine in a plastic bag (see picture). This stops electrolysis and preserves the battery’s life. I’ve been doing this for years, and it works.”
