Modified Grease Zerk
  Roger Gutschmidt, Gackle, N.D.: “I get frustrated with equipment that has a grease zerk you can’t reach, so I modify it with an elbow from a parts store.
  “It only takes a few minutes to remove the zerk and add the elbow, but it can save a lot of time down the road. I’ve found that if a zerk isn’t easy to reach, the bearing doesn’t get greased and eventually goes out. Fixing it takes a lot more time and costs a lot more money.”
