Trailers really aren’t that complicated, and neither is inspecting them. It just requires help from a buddy to sit in the cab while you walk around checking everything. But then, I found the #9101 Light Ranger Trailer Tester from IPA® -- a one-man tester that lets you test the trailer without a truck or a helper. It allows me to power each circuit individually with a labeled knob and inspect the corresponding lights and/or brakes to check a trailer in minutes. It’s been a great asset in my small shop for my customers and also for my personal use on my trailer and RV.
