Dr. JimZ Chicken Soup For The Soil
Stretch Product By Fermenting Compost Tea!
In a large tank or tote mix 1 part Chicken Soup with 10 parts water. Put a few pounds of high-quality topsoil from your farm in a paint strainer or cheese cloth and bob it in the tank like a tea bag. If the temperature is 70+ degrees, it takes about 4 days to ferment an amazing compost tea. Make sure to mix the solution with air 3 times per day throughout the fermenting process. This supplies oxygen to the microbes and mixes the solution. Compost Tea Should Be Diluted
With 10 Parts Water Before Application To Foliage.
* Fermenting the compost tea is a good way to stretch the product for those willing to put in the work. A lot of customers apply Chicken Soup for the Soil® straight in the early spring while it is cold and then ferment the Compost tea once the weather warms up, this is a great combination.
Apply Compost Tea Foliar Spray
First ferment the Chicken Soup Compost Tea (by following the directions above)… Then mix the compost tea solution with an additional 10 parts water. This will cool the Chicken Soup down enough to be safely applied as an amazing foliar spray.
Using Chicken Soup Compost Tea™ as a foliar spray gives the plant a nice bump of nutrition and creates biological exclusion on the leaf. Bugs and disease do not like the microbes or the microbe waste that you are spraying on the leaf. Great for all types of crops; including fruit trees, row crops, hemp/cannabis, and garden veggies.
