Conventional welders are all good ways to work with steel but once you try Multiplaz 3500, you might never go back. Multiplaz welds, solders, brazes, and hardens and cleanses steel, aluminum, copper, cast iron, bronze and other metals. It’ll also cut any metal, including high-alloy and stainless steel, as well as ceramic tiles, quartz glass, bricks, and concrete.
Patricia Lewis-Hansen, Multiplaz North America, notes the hand operated tool comes with two torches for welding and cutting, works on 20 amp, 110v or 220v, requires 3 ounces of water for cutting or 50% water alcohol in lieu of gas, for 12-30 mins use time. The Multiplaz welds all ferrous & non-ferrous metals, delivers 3/8” plasma cuts, and weighs only 30 lbs.
On 220V, the user gets 3/8” cuts and faster welding, while mode 1 allows lower current processes of brazing, soldering and gas welds. Mode 2 allows TIG type welds with arc, all with 100% duty cycle, operating on a 4000 watt continuous generator. A manual, quick start, and DVD are used for training.
