He Likes Zep For Stuck Nuts, Bolts
![]() |
“Steve Crawford, the shop foreman at Jim’s Welding, gave me a can. They repair farm equipment and erect grain bins.
“I took it home and tried it on some rusty lug bolts, and it worked great. Since then, I’ve used it a lot, including on an old church bell I’ve been working on. I spray a heavy coat on problem parts at the end of the day and then a light coat again in the morning. I find I can easily remove nuts with a wrench, and some come off by hand alone.
“Zep has a long list of lubricants and penetrants on their website, and I’ve tried to contact them for more information without luck. That’s frustrating, but I still think it deserves to be a FARM SHOW Best Buy. It’s not the least costly product out there, but people learn that price isn’t the only consideration.”
