Mirror Extension For Tractor Cabs
You can see around and behind the wide grain wagons you're pulling down the highway by using the new extendable rear-view mirror called the Extenda Mirror.
Designed for mounting on Deere Sound Gard cabs, the telescoping mirror arm extends up to 3 ft. You buy the arm assembly (retails for $45) and mount the cab's original mirror on it.
"Using the extension, you can see around any farm size grain wagon," says Mark Moore, one of the inventor-manufacturers of the product. Moore, a grain elevator employee, and his partner Robert Watts, both of Belmond, Iowa, have formed WAM Mfg. Co. to make the product. They plan to have mirror arms to fit most other makes of tractors available soon.
The extension arm for Deere tractors attaches in 10 minutes, says Moore, by removing existing bolts. There are no holes to drill. The mirror can be mounted horizontal or vertical.
