Best Coaster Wagon Money Can Buy For Kids
If you'd like to buy your children (or grandchildren) the best coaster wagon money can buy, here it is ù from Mosdal Feed Carts, Broadview, Mont.
"It's designed to delight any child, yet is built to take all the abuse they can possible give it," says Mosdal.
His company builds the "indestructible" coaster wagon in any size you want within a standard range. Size can range from 18 to 26 in. wide (in 2 in. increments) and from 30 to 40 in. long (in 2 in. increments). The wagon is constructed of 14 ga. steel reinforced with a 1 in. pipe. Wheel brackets are made of 3/16 in. plate steel. The tongue can be removed and a hitch installed so the wagon can be towed behind a small tractor or all-terrain vehicle. The pneumatic tires hold 30 lbs. of air, making the wagon easy for anyone to pull. Sideboards and "moon" hubcaps are optional.
The wagon will hold 1,000 lbs. or more ù if that much weight can be fitted into the box. The handle makes a 270? turn and a heavy-duty bearing is used on the pivot point. All wheels are equipped with grease zerks.
In addition to being an "indestructible" toy, the heavy duty wagon is also a working wagon. "It's great for hauling a welder to jobs inside the farm shop, for hauling hay bales and feed sacks, bringing in wood at chore time, hauling vegetables from the garden, or for hauling groceries from the car to the house after coming back from the supermarket," Mosdal points out.
Sells for $225.
