The Original Air Filter Blaster With Its “One Day Payback” Technology
The Air Filter Blaster uses low pressure and constant motion to safely, effectively, and efficiently clean canister style air filters.
“The Air Filter Blaster is designed to clean dirt from any canister-type air filter,” says Dennis Grieve, Salmon River Innovations, Inc president. “It lets you use your air compressor to safely blow dust out of the filter. It’s not intended to permanently replace the purchase of new air filters. It’ll just make them last as much as 20 times longer.”
The portable unit comes with a stepped cone-shaped lid that pressurizes the filter from the inside out. To clean a filter, you hook up a compressor to the supplied ball valve and open the valve. The pressurized air creates a vortex inside the rotor head which causes high-speed rotation of the head. As the head rotates inside the filter element, air is directed out of 4 specifically designed directional air jackets cleaning the filter from the very bottom to the very top of the filter in a matter of seconds.
“It has just has one moving part and since that part uses air ride bearing technology, it should last a lifetime,” says Grieve.
“The true science is by design. The filter can be cleaned several times due to the fact that at no time will more than 40-48 PSI be applied to the element. It works a lot better than damaging the filter by banging it on the ground or holding an air nozzle 1/4-in. away from the filter with high pressure, which can tear the element.”
The Air Filter Blaster portable unit sells for $299 plus S&H and comes with a 6-in. rotor head standard - 3, 4 1/2 and 9-in. rotor heads are also availible to fit almost any filter on the market and sell for $49 each.
